I was wrong about Writing Tools. It’s not just improving what you write, but keeping your personality in it, too.

Writing Tools Powered by Apple Intelligence is Done Right and it Makes Perfect Sense Why

Writing Tools is a fantastic way to proofread or rewrite text on iPhone, iPad, and Mac before you send it off or save it. However, the way it works is what makes it stand out from everything else.

Write a paragraph right now, launch ChatGPT, drop it in there, and ask it to proofread it. Everything looks way better, right? Almost like a brand-new person wrote it.

That’s the thing I don’t like about other artificial intelligence models.

With Writing Tools powered by Apple Intelligence, whenever you hit that Proofread button, it keeps your personality in the final result. It does not turn you into a brand-new author.

It keeps you, you. It does not remove the humanity from your written words unless you specifically ask it to.

It’s easy to create a proofreading tool. But all of them suffer from the same thing – they don’t make you sound better, they change you completely. I want the other person to know what they read is what I wrote, not a best-selling author.

The only thing that makes me sad is how this amazing technology is not going to be in the hands of people because it’s only compatible with a handful of devices.

If you have been using Writing Tools, I want to know how it’s working out for you. Drop me an email, if possible.
