If you have an iPhone 14 Plus and currently face an issue where the rear camera does not show a preview, Apple has launched a service program.
iPhone 14 Plus with Rear Camera Issue will be Fixed by Apple in its Latest Program
There’s been an issue with the iPhone 14 Plus rear camera on a certain number of devices. Apple has acknowledged the issue and has launched a brand-new service program for those who are affected by it.
According to Apple, devices that were manufactured between April 10, 2023, and April 28, 2024, may have an issue that causes the camera to not show a preview. Turns out, it’s a hardware fault, and Apple will service the part.
In order to see whether you qualify for the program or not, you have to head over to this link and enter your device’s serial number. You can find your serial number by going to Settings > General > About, or do it the old-fashioned way by checking it out on the iPhone 14 Plus box.
Apple also says that it may limit the repair or replacement to the country or region of purchase. In other words, if someone got you the phone from somewhere else, your phone may not qualify for the service or repair where you currently live. But hey, take the chance and see if Apple services your phone anyway.
Apple also says that if you have already had the camera repaired, then they will give you a refund for the repair, which is fantastic news, especially for those who paid too much money for the repair.
I will urge you to take the time out and see if your iPhone 14 Plus was manufactured between the dates Apple has provided. Take the phone to Apple and have it serviced for free. You won’t get a better chance than this to make things right on your phone.
