News that will definitely get a lot of people excited: Resident Evil 2 is coming to iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
Capcom Announces Resident Evil 2 Coming to iPhone, iPad and Mac on the 10th of December
Capcom has officially announced that it is bringing Resident Evil 2 to the iPhone, iPad, and Mac.
But, that’s not the best news out there.
The game is a universal purchase, which means you just have to buy it once, and it will be available to you on all platforms. And, you start off with a free trial and then pay up the full amount of money to play the rest of the game.
You can even resume the game where you left off on another device. Capcom has made sure your game progress is in sync across all of your devices.
Currently, there’s no word how much it would cost for the entire game.
You do need high-end hardware in order to play the game. This means you need at least an iPhone 15 Pro or an iPad with an M-series chip inside for it to work. Or, you need hardware that supports Apple Intelligence.
That’s one way of simplifying things.
The game will be released on the 10th of December and you can pre-register for it by going to this link.
Do keep in mind the game requires a ton of storage space for installation. We’re talking more than 22GB of storage for the entire game. That’s definitely a lot and something to consider ahead of time before you decide to dip your toes into the game.
Do keep in mind that this is not the first Resident Evil game on the iPhone, iPad, and Mac. This is the fourth one being released by Capcom.
Resident Evil was a key part of my life when I was growing up. All the games had me hooked, and the thrill you got on the PlayStation when something was about to happen in the game really added to the tension.
I really can’t wait for this one to arrive, as it’s a classic that deserves a second play.
